1. Scope of Services

Hansen Logistics Group provides logistics, transport, removals, delivery and clearance services within the UK. All services are subject to availability and acceptance of these conditions.

2. Quotations & Pricing

2.1 All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer and are valid for a limited time only.
2.2 Prices may change if the job details differ from those originally agreed, including but not limited to additional items, access issues, waiting time, or changes to collection or delivery addresses.
2.3 Any additional charges will be communicated where possible and must be paid in full.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, must be made in full before or upon completion of the service.
3.2 We reserve the right to withhold delivery or services until payment has been received.

4. Customer Responsibilities

4.1 You are responsible for ensuring that all items are correctly described and suitable for transport.
4.2 You must ensure that access is available at both collection and delivery locations, including parking and safe loading/unloading areas.
4.3 You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, parking permits, or access approvals.

5. Prohibited & Restricted Items

We do not carry:

• Hazardous, illegal or flammable goods

• Explosives, firearms or weapons

• Perishable or temperature-sensitive items

• Cash, jewellery, precious metals or high-value items unless agreed in writing

Any undisclosed prohibited items are carried entirely at the customer’s risk.

6. Packing & Loading

6.1 Items should be suitably packed to withstand normal transport conditions unless packing services are provided by us.
6.2 We are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate or insufficient packing carried out by the customer.
6.3 Items loaded at the customer’s request against our advice are transported at the customer’s risk.

7. Liability & Damage

7.1 Our liability is limited to loss or damage caused by our proven negligence.
7.2 We are not liable for:

• Wear and tear

• Pre-existing damage

• Mechanical or electrical failure

• Indirect or consequential loss

7.3 Any claims for loss or damage must be notified in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

8. Delays & Force Majeure

8.1 While we make every effort to meet agreed times, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather, breakdowns, accidents, or acts of God.
8.2 Same-day services are subject to availability and external conditions.

9. Cancellations

9.1 Cancellations must be made as early as possible.
9.2 We reserve the right to charge for cancellations made at short notice or after work has commenced.

10. Storage Services

10.1 Any items placed into storage remain at the customer’s risk unless otherwise agreed.
10.2 Storage charges must be paid in accordance with agreed terms.
10.3 We reserve the right to dispose of stored goods if payments are overdue, subject to reasonable notice.

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if:

• Conditions are unsafe

• Payment is not made

• Prohibited items are discovered

• Abuse or unreasonable behaviour occurs

12. Governing Law

These Conditions of Carriage are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Conditions of Carriage.
